Book 3 – The Fiasco in an Apocalypse

At first, I could handle the constant stream of nonsense. At some point, it all became background noise. Mole people came and went, crazy girlfriends and interdimensional caretakers of ancient powers could be disregarded. Even if they were all related. I even managed to suffer being a teacher to the next generation of know it all overeager super-powered teenagers.

Then it happened, an event got drawn in from realms unknown and removed all the stability that my rollercoaster life had developed. In one vicious swoop, the woman I cared for and the kids who actually enjoyed class are gone for good. There are points in life where enough is enough, and someone has to answer for the high crime of a unendingly shitty life.

So, I’ve had enough. It’s time to make the bad-shit-o-meter dial up to eleven or higher. I’m going to keep going until something finally gives, me, or whichever asshole assigned me this terrible power. Everyone goes in the crosshairs until the powers at large figure out a way of undoing what happened. How? Simple, I’m going pull the trigger on an apocalypse.

And I used to be such a nice guy.

"There was a weight in the early autumn air. Though they were both persistent in their presence, it was neither the oppressive heat nor the dense humidity that animated the atmosphere this day. The air was fattened, rather, with promises of things to come. Bad things."
